The Group founder, Meir Ohana (1940-2021), one of Jerusalem’s veterans, started out as a construction contractor and developer in 1965. Under his rule, projects consisting of hundreds of residential units and many public buildings and educations institutions were constructed throughout the country. Now, the late Meir’s sons, David and Shay Ohana, construction developers who grew up in the industry and entered the family business 20 years ago, are continuing to lead the Group successfully. Ohana Group is the urban regeneration branch of Issta Assets.
In 2015, Issta Assets became a partner of Ohana Group, the Company’s
urban regeneration branch. Issta Assets is a subsidiary of Issta Lines, a public
company listed on the TASE at a value of NIS 1.5 billion.
